Once again, our summers are filled with all kinds of fun events, from swimming to camping, sight seeing and much more. Some of us stayed here in the states, while others chose to travel abroad. Weather by land or by sea, we hope you all had a safe and fun summer.
Our contest for June-September was called "Where have you been?" We asked our patients to send in photos or post cards of what they did during the summer.
It's always interesting to find out what our patients are grateful for , and since November is gratitude month we thought it was appropriate to as that very question. We had so many good answers it was hard to pick. Most of our patients were of course thankful for their families, their home and food. Jakob went one step further saying he was thankful for the world and for God. It really touched our hearts that this young man shared that with us. We are so pleased to have him as a patient in our office. He was presented with a Cold Stone gift card and he said he would share it with his mom!!! What a great kid!
The orange and black spiders made a web on the ceiling. They were creepy and crawly, and not too appealing. They might scare you, they might scare me. But we caught the spiders, how many do you see? We put spiders and webs on the ceiling and in a jar and had the kids find as many as possible. Some of them were hidden throughout the web, so it wasn't as easy as it may seem. Kayla spied the most spiders and was presented with a Cold Stone gift card. Kayla is an exceptional patient and we are happy to see her each month.
Our September winner was Laura Stobbe. She is a recent transfer to our office. We are looking forward to getting to know her better. It was nice to have her participate in our contest by sending us a funny post card from Alaska. She received a gift card to Barnes and Noble with a cute bookmark. Congratulations Laura.
Our July winner was Olivia VanGundy. She sent us a picture of her standing on a deck of an Alaskan Cruise Ship. What an awesome way to spend the summer. Olivia won some nail polish and a gift card to Starbucks. Olivia is always smiling and very friendly when she comes in. Congratulations Olivia.
